South Bay Food Fest

Ah, finally an update. It's been ages since I've had a desire to jot something down. Hopefully, this will continue on. I attended the South Bay Food Fest this past Saturday in Carson. Oh my, it was a great 4-5 hours of eating lol. Good thing I had someone to share food with (towards the end, I would only take a bite...haha)!

Recap of what we ate, in order:

Truck Norris - short rib taco (chopped up short rib, cabbage, honey chipotle aioli, kim chi salsa)
Me So Hungry - KTM (short rib, pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, spicy creme fraiche) and flyin hawaiian (pulled chicken, crispy onions, chipotle aioli) sliders
Rebel Bite - granny style snowball (cheddar cheese, carmalized onions, sweet/spicy pork)
Temaki Truck - temaki maki hand roll (spicy tuna, salmon, yellowtail, albacore, octopus, shrimp)
Coolhaus -chocolate chip cookie sandwich with lemon ice cream inside
Lime Truck -sweet and spicy steak taco
Kogi - sweet chili chicken quesadilla

Hands down, we both felt Truck Norris' short rib taco was THE best thing we had that day. Me So Hungry's KTM slider was pretty good too. Kogi's quesadilla is always awesome but the taco from Truck Norris was lingering in my taste buds' memory as I was eating the quesadilla yet preferring the short rib. I would have had pictures for the post if I wasn't so hungry, hence I wasn't thinking correctly. Another time, perhaps!
